Trim and moulding

Baseboards, casing, and crown moulding fitted to real walls, with tight corners and seams ready for paint.

The details that finish a room

Trim covers the joints where walls meet floors, ceilings, doors, and windows. Done well, nobody notices it; done badly, gaps and open corners draw the eye every time you walk in.

We install baseboards, shoe moulding, door and window casing, and crown moulding. Every run is measured on site, because few walls are perfectly straight and few corners are exactly square.

Choosing profiles

The right profile depends on ceiling height and the style of the house. Taller baseboards suit higher ceilings; simple, flat casing suits modern interiors; layered crown suits formal rooms. We bring samples so you can see them against your own walls.

Materials

Paint-grade trim is usually primed MDF or finger-jointed pine: smooth, stable, and affordable. Stain-grade work uses solid hardwood with matched grain. In bathrooms and other damp rooms we suggest moisture-resistant materials.

Ready for paint

We set nails, fill holes, and caulk the seams, so the trim is ready for its final coat. Our interior painting team can finish it, or your own painter can.

Common questions

How do your quotes work?

We visit, look at the rooms with you, and measure. You then get a written quote that lists the work included, the materials, and anything excluded. Quotes are free and there is no obligation. Ask for a quote.
